Industrial Loft Interior Design Project

The owner had just finished building this building, bringing it from a three-floor parking lot to a residential unit. His goal was to design a few properties with very different styles to showcase to potential buyers. He wanted a neutral but eye-catching atmosphere so that the clients could understand the potential of the space in these "special shape" properties and feel more comfortable purchasing it to move in.

This mini 28 square meters apartment had one great advantage: TALL ceilings. The best way to showcase the apartment's potential was in doubling the apartment living facilities by moving the bedroom to the upper storage space. Projecting the new bedroom to the big windows and enriching it with natural light while providing a direct view of the living room. It was essential to create a comfortable living environment, with a separate dining and living area. In contrast, the lower level had an open kitchen, and the upper level provided more private sleeping space. The couch chosen had this incredible vintage/ industrial vibe matching the apartment's entire mood, spiced up with brick walls and greenery. The upper level has a lower ceiling to standard bedrooms, so we used pallets instead of a bed frame, giving it some support from the floor. At the same time, I achieved the possibility of sitting up straight on the bed and creating a more spacious bedroom effect.
